When does the course start?

Your course starts on the date of purchase and is available immediately.

How long do I have to complete the course?

Students have 6 months to complete the course from the date of purchase (Time of enrollment).

How long does it typically take to complete the course?

It typically takes the average student 4-6 weeks to complete the pre-license course.

Do we offer a cram/crash course?

Exam preparation is the online equivalent to a cram/crash course that a student can take at their own pace as many times as needed.  

Can I take the 24 Hour Practice Course before the 48 Hour Course or take both at the same time? 

No, you can not take the 24 Hour course before the 48 Hour Course or at the same time. Doing so would result in your license application being denied by the Missouri Real Estate Commission.

What if I don’t understand something in the course?

Every course comes with an assigned instructor who will make contact with you by email, phone, or a combination within 24-48 hours after your enrollment. Instructors are available throughout the day and night within reason to assist students with course materials and general license questions.

Do I have to take a final exam?

Yes, all pre-license courses require a final exam. However Missouri does not require that exam to be proctored. Meaning the final exam is open book and notes. 

What if I fail the final exam?

If a student fails the final exam the instructor will conduct a review with the student prior to retaking the final exam. If a student fails the final exam twice, the student will have to repeat the course.

Missouri 24 Hour Practice Course:
$115
This 24-hour interactive course takes a closer look at buyer and seller representation, agency disclosure, pricing properties and more. This course includes some review of the 48-hour Missouri Salesperson Pre-Examination Course to prepare you for the licensing exam, while teaching key concepts through a series of video lectures and review exercises.


If an individual holds a current and active salesperson license in another state/jurisdiction at the time they apply for a Missouri salesperson license, they must pass the STATE portion of the Missouri salesperson exam and take the 24-hour Missouri Real Estate Practice (MREP) Course. The MREP course can be taken before or after the exam date, but must be taken prior to applying for licensure. The 48-hour Missouri salesperson pre-examination course is not required. Application for licensure must be submitted to the MREC within six months of passing the STATE portion of the Missouri salesperson exam.

Missouri 24 Hour Practice Course:

**Licensee’s reactivating an inactive license to active or a license that has not been current for more than 6 months must complete the 24-hour Missouri Real Estate Practice course. *The 24-hour course completion certificate cannot be more than 6 months old at the time of submission (375-0551 (1-2021) INFORMATION AND LICENSE CHANGE).


**Any licensee who fails to complete continuing education requirements during the renewal period must submit with their renewal proof of completion of the Missouri Real Estate Practice Course as identified in 20 CSR 2250-6.060 (MISSOURI REAL ESTATE COMMISSION STATUTES AND RULES).

Missouri Real Estate Continuing Education (CE) and License Renewal Requirements:

Real estate salespersons in Missouri need to renew their real estate licenses by September 30 of even-numbered years 

Real estate brokers in Missouri need to renew their licenses by June 30 of even-numbered years


By these dates, real estate professionals must complete 12 hours of real estate CE, of which 9 hours must be electives and 3 hours must be core coursework

Missouri real estate salesperson license: 72 hours

Missouri State Reciprocity:

Real estate commissions and boards across the country are adopting policies for a real estate agent in one state to more easily become licensed in another state. An individual who holds a real estate license in another state or jurisdiction desiring to obtain a real estate salesperson license in Missouri must fulfill the following requirements:

Pass the state portion of the Missouri salesperson exam

Complete 48 hours prior to taking the state exam.

Complete 24 hours prior to being licensed.

Submit a license application to the Commission within 6 months of passing the state portion of the Missouri salesperson exam

Submit a license (history) certification issued from the real estate commission of your former state or jurisdiction

A broker licensed in another state who desires to be licensed as a broker in Missouri must fulfill the following requirements:

Have 24 months (of the last 30 months) of active salesperson experience

Complete the Missouri 48-hour broker pre-examination course

Pass both portions of the Missouri broker exam

Apply for a real estate broker’s license within 6 months of completing the 48-hour broker course

Submit a license (history) certification issued from the real estate commission of your former state or jurisdiction, issued no more than 3 months before applying for a Missouri license
